It promotes proper breathing techniques, which activate core stabilizing muscles, segmental articulation of the spine, organization of the shoulder girdle and ribcage, and proper postural alignment. Pilates results in a strong lean body and improved flexibility, balance and coordination.

What is a Mat Group Class?
Pilates mat class focuses on core principles of pilates work, specifically targeting the “powerhouse”. A full repertoire of Pilates mat exercises will be performed in this class. Some small props such as Magic Circle, Form Roller, Flex-band, Fitness ball, Toning ball will be used periodically to challenge movements. 3-6 people; beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
What is Rehabilitation Pilates?
Rehab Pilates is a type of neuromuscular re-education, offering new pathways of movement to the injured clients. The goal is to restore muscle balance and function.
What’s different about Jun’s method?
Jun combines Pilates training method and Tui Na (Chinese Massotherapy) together to solve clients’ physical problems. Tui Na is a form of deep tissue therapy. The practitioners use a wide range of hand techniques to massage the soft tissue (muscles and tendons) of the body along meridians to directly affect the flow of Qi, and to realign the musculoskeletal and ligamentous relationships (bone-setting). Jun works to integrate the best eastern and western methods to promote strength and relaxation.
